Having already had their civil wedding in Austria, all they needed for their Croatian church wedding was a baptismal certificate from the church, not older than six months, and an ID card. The church wedding certificate, issued in Latin, required no translation and was sufficient for the parish office in their home country.
With their preferences in mind, we presented Toni and Julia with a curated selection of 15 exquisite locations, each offering its unique charm and appeal. After much deliberation, they settled on a beautiful villa nestled on an island—a hidden gem just 10 kilometers from the airport, yet a world away in terms of tranquility and beauty. The villa boasted breathtaking sea views and could comfortably accommodate their 12 guests for five unforgettable days.
Their wedding week was nothing short of magical. Toni and Julia soaked in the sun, lounged on crystal-clear beaches, and explored the enchanting UNESCO-protected city of Trogir, creating cherished memories leading up to their big day.
The villa became their epicenter of preparation. Talented hairstylists and makeup artists transformed the couple into the picture of perfection while utilizing the villa's scenic backdrop for stunning photographs and videos to capture the essence of their love.
For their church ceremony, we scoured the Adriatic coast to find the perfect location—a 16th-century gem known as the Church of Our Lady of Prizidnice. Perched on a rock above the sea, this historic church provided a serene and secluded setting for their vows. The ceremony was a blend of timeless church music and elegant decorations, attended by their nearest and dearest, including parents, siblings, and godparents.
However, nature threw a curveball on their wedding day with unpredictable weather. In a testament to our dedication, we swiftly adapted, moving the tables and chairs indoors to the spacious villa, which easily accommodated their guests and even a DJ.
As if answering their prayers, the weather cleared up after the ceremony, allowing us to organize a breathtaking outdoor reception by the villa's pool. Against the backdrop of a stunning sunset and a gentle breeze, Toni and Julia shared their first dance—a moment of pure bliss and happiness.
Guests raised their glasses and toasted the newlyweds with champagne, setting the stage for an unforgettable party. A lavish wedding dinner awaited them, meticulously arranged to match the couple's vision. Decorators had transformed the dining area with exquisite tablecloths, candlesticks, flowers, and custom dishes.
The catering showcased the best of Dalmatian cuisine, featuring four courses of local delights, including homemade prosciutto, cheese, octopus salad, tuna pâté, pasta with truffles, black risotto, and the nationally protected pasta and chard dish, Poljički soparnik. Local wines, mouthwatering desserts, and a wedding cake adorned in their chosen theme complemented the feast.
The atmosphere was kept lively throughout the night, thanks to two talented DJs who curated the perfect playlist. Meanwhile, a dedicated photographer and videographer worked tirelessly to capture every precious moment, ensuring that Toni and Julia's love story would be etched in time forever.
